Contractors
Work is defined as the "construction and/or rehabilitation of utility systems including but not limited to,
storm sewers, sanitary sewers and drainage, water lines, cables, ducts, conduits, gas lines, tunneling,
boring and trenchless construction, treatment systems, pump stations and all other utility construction
and appurtenances thereof". Contractors (non-manufacturers) performing only non-utility work such as paving,
who have zero utility volume will automatically fall into the lowest contractor category.
Dues Schedule
Dues amounts are categorized by volume. Your category level is computed upon your firm's gross annual
sales and is based on the honor system. To maintain your membership, contractors must become maintain
membership with both the local chapter (UCAW) and the National Chapter (NUCA). The dues structure below
indicates the amounts for both membership levels. For associate supplier and industry professionals, NUCA
membership is optional.
25% of the UCAW dues is for state and federal lobbying purposes and therefore may not be tax deductible.
If you have any questions, please call the UCAW office.
