The purpose of a hearing conservation program is to identify controls and their implementation to provide adequate protection for employees exposed to noise levels which may exceed 85dba average over an eight-hour time period as required by federal and state agencies.
The Hearing Conservation regulations are found in WAC 296-62-subpart K
