If your firm uses subcontractors, a Subcontractor Policy should be developed that clearly states what you will require of your sub with regard to safety. This would include your safety requirements, any drug testing requirements, or your weekly safety meeting requirements. You can also request a copy of their Site Specific Safety Plan, copies of their Weekly Foreman/Crew meetings, their safety record, or their experience modification factor.
